MATERNITY & NEWBORN SHOTS, taken by Barbara
Maternity photographs are usually taken towards the end of your pregnancy, together with your partner if that is what you wish. This is a fleeting moment in the lives of both you, your partner and your soon-to-be-born baby, which can never be recaptured. These shots will be taken by Barbara, in the comfort and privacy of your own home. And to ensure that you feel relaxed, unhurried and completely at your ease, these pregnancy shoots will last for approx 1 hour, or as long as it takes.
Barbara also offers coverage of your newborn baby, as a companion to your pregnancy shots - 'before' and 'after' images, as it were! These newborn shots are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, even if you haven't had chance to take advantage of the pregnancy images, as babies grow and change so very fast. It's an extremely brief period, and one which begins to tell the story of your child in the early days. We can of course continue to photograph your child as he/she grows, compiling a complete record of your child's progress.
And as you add to your family, your photographs will include your new baby together with yourselves and your older children, all celebrating the beginning of a new life.
You will find that images of pregnancy and new babies look very good in black and white, but naturally the choice is yours.
